Overview
Kernel CI Kit is a production-ready, modular CI/CD pipeline template designed to automate Android kernel builds on GitHub Actions with zero local infrastructure requirements.
Key Pipeline Features
- Toolchain Caching: Automatically downloads and caches modern Clang toolchains (AOSP Clang, Proton Clang, Azure Clang).
- Persistent ccache: Integrated GitHub Actions cache action saving intermediate object files, cutting recompilation times from 45 minutes down to 8 minutes.
- Automated Packaging: Clones AnyKernel3, injects the newly compiled Image.gz-dtb kernel binary, and produces flashable zip archives.
- GitHub Releases Integration: Automatically creates release tags and uploads build artifacts upon git tag push.
- Telegram Bot Notifier: Sends real-time notifications with build status, compile duration, commit author, and direct download links.
